Why is it people choose bars to air their grievances and mend their fences

Don’t they know these are our churches

Our last vestiges of simple, holy solitude.

That on a beautiful Sunday afternoon is so hard to find.

Oh Fuck!

Now hear come the parents with their kids.

I think I’m going to have to find a new place to get drunk.
